Gwynne Shotwell is the President and COO of SpaceX, as well as a mechanical engineer. In 2002, she joined SpaceX. As Vice President of Business Development, she helped guide the Falcon vehicle family to over 50 launches. Gwynne gave a TED talk about STEM in schools, and in 2012, she was inducted into the Women in Technology International Hall of Fame. I was lucky enough to get to hear her speak and meet her.
